SG Finale Dinner

*Sigh* Don't you wish you were there? The perfect way to end this epic drama - with the stars themselves in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. If this show were aired live here in Malaysia, I would wear an "I LOVE SG" T-shirt, and make my family wear it too while we watch the final episode. Le sigh, wouldn't that be wonderful... let a girl dream, will ya?

Secret Garden Finale

Another confirmation of a Happy Ending for the OTP; a mashup from two news articles: (Updated!)

Finalizing the finale's script: With two more episodes left to go, SBS's Secret Garden's writer Kim Eun Sook has chose the Happy Ending. Right now, the SG crew is in Yeoju, Gyeonggi-do, Paju and Yesan-gun, Chungcheongnam-do shooting for the 19th Episode. It is tough on the crew as the filming is so close to a "LIVE" broadcast.

(Updated!) and An Announcement: There will be a special edition episode of Secret Garden (probably BTS and whatnot) next Saturday (22/1/2011) at 9 P.M.

"All good things come to an end" - but not in kdramaland, I believe. Something that ends always means a beginning of another. I finally caught up with MP, and I'm happy to report: I like it. It's still the level of "like" not "love" though, but that's not the drama's fault, I attribute it to the absence of the Binnie factor.

I love Lee Seol - she's really a metaphor for the sun; such a sunny and nothing-will-bring-me-down disposition. SSH on the other hand, erm...I find no faults in him -he's the cute goodie two-shoes. Therefore, Street Smart vs. Straightlaced = OTP. 

Although...something's been bothering me. Why Mr. Hand Towel? I'm missing an inside joke here, or is it some idiom I'm unaware of?

Anyway, let's take a walk down memory lane....

Yay! Two news ALL Gardeners will be proud of, no doubt. I hope this weekend's show will end nicely, 'cause there's nothing like a poop-y ending to spoil a freakin'tastic show (with only two more eps to go, don't fail me now, Writer-nim!).

I thought I've turned jaded after my Taiwan trip. My SG friends were telling me, "Prepare to cry your eyes out for 17 and 18!" and I was like, "Where? When?" Is there something wrong with my tear ducts? I was extremely annoyed with the first half of episode 17 - enough with the Evil Mama and the victimized daughter-in-law, please. I was NOT impressed to say the least. But as soon as I was being smug over my newfound crybaby-no-more status, tears started to flow (more like gushed out) like a dam broken.

A Fireman's Prayer

This line that was featured in Episode 16's Secret Garden was a weepy moment for the audience. 

Voiced by Ra Im's dad, it is actually a verse from a renowned poem,
"Firefighter's Prayer". This prayer was found on the desk of a fireman who died in a 2001 fire that happened in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul:

The Memory Of Joo Won's Accident

The OTP may be together now, but the show is by no means less addictive or even the slightest bit anticlimatic. Sure, some of it has been revealed, but the accident is still shrouded in mystery. By the end of Episode 16, I positively feel like throttling someone. 

EVERYONE knows (except for the OTP o'course) but WHY oh why won't anyone talk? It's driving me crazy. What made a 21-year-old Joo Won so traumatized he chose to forget for the past twelve years? How exactly did RI's dad died? [SPOILERS AHEAD]

(Updated with long preview transcript!) Usually I watch hospital scenes with a 3rd person disinterest sort of way and this is the first time I'm feeling horror over a scene (the paramedics!). The whole thing's so real and surreal at the same time. Joo Won aaah! *Rushes to the hospital*

Whew! I'm relieve beyond words this week's spoilers are much easier to translate, unlike last week's fiasco. 
Spoiler In Words Episode 15

Joo Wanda calls Oska "oppa" (which is really telling because it's suppose to be "hyung"), Oska is surprised and wonders whether Joo Won's condition has regressed. Meanwhile, the Jong Soo who finds out that the Ra Im who told him not to confess till the day he dies was not really her, got really angry (me thinks he'll really beat JW up into a pulp).
