Annie Chen and George Hu Reunited!

Fresh off their recent daily drama, Annie Chen and George Hu are set to work together again on the next SETTV produced drama, Love Around (tentatively from the FB link address) or True Love, Black & White (a literal translation from the Chinese title 真愛黑白配).

 

It is quite interesting that this pair is thrown together again so soon after their last drama. I mean, yea we know the circle of actors in Taiwan isn't that big and repeat pairings do happen, but I think this is the one of, if not, the soonest I've seen actors paired together again.

I'm watching RAWS of this show, people, the raws!! The fact that I'm watching this show w/o subtitles speaks volumes, because I can't remember the last time I've done that. And the reason being:

Big, big sorry to fellow LNAAs... I know I haven't posted anything for agggessss... But aside from uni, I also got distracted into watching The Big Bang Theory (marathoned till Season 4), School 2013 (which is awesome), The Lizzie Bennet Diaries (need the next episode!!) and... anyway, you probably don't need to hear this. I haven't exactly caught up to the series myself, so hopefully what I'm writing will still be from a non-spoilery perspective. (And hopefully comments will stay that way too!)

Ahhh... I have missed the sugar rush from our favourite OTP.

Pretty Little Liars: SPOBY FEELS ALERT

It's true, I have not watched an episode of PLL in my life. But a little bird told me there was this delicious arc where the guy supposedly works for the enemy (long story). This about makes it 1000% more interesting, and naturally I joined the fandom just when my OTP's relationship is on the rocks. 

So now I'm all emo, and the irony is I probably wouldn't have watched this show if not for the sudden turn of events. Masochism at its finest, huh?

I wanted the monster back and that was plainly wrong.

Who's read the book? Who's excited? *Me, me!* I gotta admit, I have a soft spot for the infamous author Stephanie Meyer. But The Host proved to be a page-turner once you grasp hold of the alien host concept. While Twilight was poorly written (to put it mildly), I did enjoy the world she created. And she's nowhere near as bad as E.L. James, so there's that.

TVD Shipping Crisis.

I'm very much on board the Klaroline ship, but Forwood too because Tyler's a better person. Klaus has little thought for humanity and is pretty much an unfeeling Original like the rest of the lot, so... idk I'm a fickle shipper. Dammit, can I choose both?

P.S: On a scale of 1 to 10, this show is 11 in the OMFG WHAT IS THIS DEVELOPMENT scale. Though I assure you, the OTP itself is relatively drama-free. You just have to trust me on this.

Sherlocked!

I always say I never procedurals, but what it really means is: I watch ALL THE EPISODES at once, or none at all. This is just how I roll, okay? No judging.

Where Criminal Minds is dark, twisted and Castle a disney-fied detective show (and has sucked since S3, don't lie to yourself), I believe I've found my latest *perfect* procedural. This adaptation features Sherlock as a recovering drug addict (quite canon, I believe) and Watson as his sober companion (not so canon, since Lucy Liu's a female, but who cares, the storylines are fantastic!).

Darcy who?

I believe I've found my perfect romance series. NORTH & SOUTH is four episodes of PERFECTION *___* Darcy is no match for Mr. Thornton, because his woobie ways tugs your heart so *lip quivers*
