Oh this written preview sounds heavenly! Not the "absolute pitch" part though, I don't need my SD to have special abilities like that, I want his EARS to be okay!! Shall never forgive Baek Hee if his condition deteriorates, hmmph!

Sam Dong tells Hye Mi who has been worrying about him that he's okay now, and tells her not to take care of him. In order to overcome his weakness, he decides that he must learn absolute pitch* (the ability to identify or reproduce a musical note without an external reference; in order to play by ear). He enlists the help of the only person in the school who knows absolute pitch, Pil Sook. Hye Mi and Jason sees them both together and feels upset inside (loveee <33 this part).

Boy, I love "In Manga" series! It's almost compulsory for very rom com to have one, and DH is no exception.

Somebody needs to come up with a female counterpart of the word "bromance". Cause it's aplenty in DH and fanboys are probably rejoicing somewhere, while girls coo at the cuteness, be it Hye Mi x Pil Sook on air or Hye Mi and Eun Jung on set.

Dream High OST: Can't I Love You? Translated Lyrics

OMG this is so embarrassing, I nearly committed another faux pas in blogging! - when they said that the song was sang by 2AM's Jinwoon and Changmin, I thought it meant 2AM's Jinwoon and the other Changmin (i.e the only Changmin I know, the DBSK one). It wasn't until I finished my translation did I realize that Changmin referred to 2AM's Lee Changmin. Whew! Close call >_<"

On the song, I admit I didn't really like it at first and I was only interested in translating this for the DH factor (I wanna know what the song means when it comes out in a scene). But after hearing it for more than 30+ times (due to translation works), it sort of grows on you. I especially like the chorus (the parts with the echoing of the BG singer). It's catchy and sweet.

Nothing drastic like M3's Mu Gyul, just kinda spikier. But most importantly, does this signify something changing in the show? 'Cause as we all know, hair style changes always means some dynamic changes in characters. Let's take a look at Kim Soo Hyun on location:

Kya~ I'm SO in love with the Woo-U couple. The Milk duo very much reminds me of the fun times I had with the GeunGeuns in M3. Hwaiting my GeunGeun Lite! Jason just needs a push further...(on that matter, thanks Hye Mi!)

DH's Concert To Be Free (unlike SG)

Meh, whatever. I can't help but get bitter every time I blog about these things. Because whether it is free or costs a hundred thousand million won, I. cannot. go. *sniffle*

Seeing the success of SG's OST concert, the staff of Dream High has proposed that they do one as well. But the concert will be a tad different and unusual. DH's representative said, "This will be a free concert." This is DH's way of returning the support it has gotten from viewers. It is believed that the main audience of DH are youngsters and students, therefore the best way to repay them is to hold a free concert.

Winter Child - Miss A's Suzy (a song I find even more impressive if you listen to it without a video, Winter Child is an adaptation of a 1990 song by Lee Jong Yong and was also featured in Big Mama's Christmas album.)

Hye Mi, Sam Dong and Pil-sook got extremely good results in their last evaluation of their first year of schooling! However, this proved to be futile as it is not enough to get them promoted to a norm class. Because of this, Teacher Oh Hyuk suggests that they join the National Dance Assembly's "Dance Of The Year" competition. Incidentally, Group K (i.e the other four) will also be joining this contest.

DH On-site's Presscon (Suzy's Cut)

It's funny how one's perspective changes pre and post broadcast of a show; not too long ago I remember having no expectations of DH, which was in my mind a "musical-idol" extravaganza, something along the lines of High School Musical. But no, what I got was Over The Rainbow with more pizzazz. Well well, that'll tell me not to look down on idols' crossovers anymore, eh? 

The following is a pretty interesting Q & A session from the recent on-site presscon held on the 25th, as Suzy talks about her acting debut, the difference between her and Hye Mi, and which guy she prefers (oh even Baek Hee's name is mentioned!)

But first a non-DH announcement: I think I just had my first experience as a noona fan! (usually stars are older than me, even Kim Soo Hyun is my oppa) I've just pledge my ever lasting fandom for j-actor Yukito Nishii. He drop dead wowed me in Kokuhaku, which I am now pimping to everybody. The show is fantastic!!! I just finished it and I was on the edge of my seat until the last moment, adrenalin still rushing even after the credits rolled. It's a gripping psychological play based on a novel of the same name. Guess I HAVE to learn Japanese soon, 'cause obviously I'm missing out on so many brilliant literature (namely novels Shizanmono, Ryusei no Kizuna, Byakuyako). So watch Kokuhaku while you're waiting for DH. You won't regret it.

...and Pil Sook becomes skinny (never mind that she looks skinner than Hye Mi)! It's just in time for Jason's addition to the class. But, something is obviously missing. Misfit Mania's status quo is still maintained at 4 members. Where's our Jin Gook-sshi?
