Eun Jung Reveals A Creamy Face Kim Soo Hyun

Remember I said in my last SIW that my boy has grown up? Well, he literally has grown up! It was his birthday last Wednesday! Happy Birthday Sam Dong ah! *breaks into a belated b-day song*

Eun Jung tweeted on the 16th some pics of them celebrating Kim Soo Hyun's birthday on the set, with the message: "Wishing Song Sam Dong a Happy Birthday. Studio's busy but filled with warmth."

Sam Dong tells Hye Mi who has been worrying about him that he's okay now, and tells her not to take care of him. In order to overcome his weakness, he decides that he must learn absolute pitch* (the ability to identify or reproduce a musical note without an external reference; in order to play by ear). He enlists the help of the only person in the school who knows absolute pitch, Pil Sook. Hye Mi and Jason sees them both together and feels upset inside (loveee <33 this part).

Somebody needs to come up with a female counterpart of the word "bromance". Cause it's aplenty in DH and fanboys are probably rejoicing somewhere, while girls coo at the cuteness, be it Hye Mi x Pil Sook on air or Hye Mi and Eun Jung on set.

DH's Concert To Be Free (unlike SG)

Meh, whatever. I can't help but get bitter every time I blog about these things. Because whether it is free or costs a hundred thousand million won, I. cannot. go. *sniffle*

Seeing the success of SG's OST concert, the staff of Dream High has proposed that they do one as well. But the concert will be a tad different and unusual. DH's representative said, "This will be a free concert." This is DH's way of returning the support it has gotten from viewers. It is believed that the main audience of DH are youngsters and students, therefore the best way to repay them is to hold a free concert.

Winter Child - Miss A's Suzy (a song I find even more impressive if you listen to it without a video, Winter Child is an adaptation of a 1990 song by Lee Jong Yong and was also featured in Big Mama's Christmas album.)

Hye Mi, Sam Dong and Pil-sook got extremely good results in their last evaluation of their first year of schooling! However, this proved to be futile as it is not enough to get them promoted to a norm class. Because of this, Teacher Oh Hyuk suggests that they join the National Dance Assembly's "Dance Of The Year" competition. Incidentally, Group K (i.e the other four) will also be joining this contest.

But first a non-DH announcement: I think I just had my first experience as a noona fan! (usually stars are older than me, even Kim Soo Hyun is my oppa) I've just pledge my ever lasting fandom for j-actor Yukito Nishii. He drop dead wowed me in Kokuhaku, which I am now pimping to everybody. The show is fantastic!!! I just finished it and I was on the edge of my seat until the last moment, adrenalin still rushing even after the credits rolled. It's a gripping psychological play based on a novel of the same name. Guess I HAVE to learn Japanese soon, 'cause obviously I'm missing out on so many brilliant literature (namely novels Shizanmono, Ryusei no Kizuna, Byakuyako). So watch Kokuhaku while you're waiting for DH. You won't regret it.

Dream High Updates (and it ain't looking good)

...and Pil Sook becomes skinny (never mind that she looks skinner than Hye Mi)! It's just in time for Jason's addition to the class. But, something is obviously missing. Misfit Mania's status quo is still maintained at 4 members. Where's our Jin Gook-sshi?

Honestly, if I had my way I would move the whole Baidu SG news crew to DH so I'll get my Sam Dong updates everyday. But I'll take what I can get, hence this I'm-not-even-sure-if-this-counts-as-a-spoiler post. 

Also: Will someone speak up for Baek Hee? Is there anyone who sees the goodness in her and willing to give your two cents? 'Cause there's nothing stopping me from calling her bad names if she keeps this up. 

Dream High Ropes In Another 2PM Member

After 7 episodes, I have to concede: Well done, producer Yon-sama and Park Jin Young. This show is officially my qualified substance for the new year. 

Wooyoung and Taecyeon's bandmember (from 2PM), Nickhun (glad I recognize him from the DH's presscon, whew!) will be doing a cameo for Dream High. In the show, he will appear as (wait for it) Romeo. Yes, Romeo as in the "wherefore art thou" kind. As you can see in the stills below, he will be doing a cellphone CF with idol star and Kirin student Ria (Yoon Young-Ah).

Wow I'm surprised at how interesting DH sounds, glad Hye Mi is not the goodie two-shoes I imagined her to be from the first SIW ('cause that would be comatose for me). And turns out that Kim So Hyun's no smallbie -his character's a delight! Bwahaha I can't wait to watch the rice bag part <3
