Can You Hear My ♥ ? in Manga

It's time for some chibi-lovin' again! This time the works are solely credited to Pooky, someone who is obviously very talented to be able to create such lovely chibi Kim Jae Wons, Hwang Jung Eums and Nam Goong Mins...It's candy to the eyes and *cutesy overload*

My Favorite Anime: Why I Will Keep On Pimping Gintama

*Includes: A Kimutaku parody clip. Do watch.
Not a fan of anime? No fret! Gintama is one anime I will recommend to even the non-otaku, guys and girls alike. 'Cause it's just that good. Guys who don't like shoujo, girls who don't care for shounen, y'all can still appreciate this anime. *Cough* that is if you don't mind some crude jokes every now and then. You do find Stephen Chow funny, don't you? (gotta check, 'cause my mom doesn't appreciate his indecent one-liners).

Like many shounen stuff, Gintama is set in a alternate world: In this one, samurais are banned and Amanto (aliens) and humans co-exist for better or for worse, after Amanto invaded Edo (now known as Tokyo). But none of that matters, not really. As long as you get this by watching the 1st episode, you're good to go. The format is episodic (like Friends) where the story resolves itself in a one episode (sometimes 2-4), so you can basically start watching from any of its 200+ epis.
Boys Love? Fanfics? Covered in this anime!

The reason why it shines is because...it's HI-larious. Not the heh kind, but the hold your sides from splitting due to laughter kind. To sum it up: Parody At Its Best. It makes fun of anything and everything: Shounen mangas in JUMP (One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, Detective Conan, Death Note etc. - even itself), famous figures in Japan (Shun Oguri, Odagiri Joe, Ichikawa Ebizo) and even outside Japan (Will Smith, Sammo Hung, Jackie Chan).

Dream High In Manga

Boy, I love "In Manga" series! It's almost compulsory for very rom com to have one, and DH is no exception.
You think this is cute? Wait till you see the rest (hint: A dairy product)

The Novel: Marry Me, Mary! (Chapter 4)

Announcement: Show Your Love To The GeunGeun Couple! Submit Your Original Fanart As The Next Novel Cover
So, I was thinking...since this is a fan-for-fan project, I wanna extend this opportunity to you fans to show your love to the GeunGeun couple as well! I need some pics for the so-called "front page" of the novel for each chapter, so for the more PS-savvy people, you can now submit your M3 fanart; just drop me the links as a comment below.
For example, the above pic is something I did, inspired from the the original manhwa.

Paradise Ranch In Manhwa

 "Holding Back" by honey

Korea can sure make their men yummy, even in comics...let's do three cheers for Manhwa Men! These fan arts were done way before the show was aired, which goes to show the influence of Changmin as an idol (most of them drawn by DBSK's Changmin fans). Now, if only they'll do some Joo Sang Wook fan art.  I saw his cameo for My Princess and my heart skipped a beat. Drooled at the man in black...uhuhu.
"Tears" by honey

More yummy fan art after the jump!

The Novel: Marry Me, Mary! (Chapter 3)

First things first: While this chapter was a delight to read, it was a pain to translate. Why, you ask? Well, I'm the kind of person who would translate sentence by sentence. S-l-o-w-l-y. I have to make sure the first sentence is perfect before going to the next one, more often than not dwelling ad nauseum.

The Novel: Marry Me, Mary! (Chapter 2)

Hey, guess what? Turns out I was wrong, the drama really resembles the manhwa ALOT. And because of those similarities, it makes this novel even more of a delight to translate. Doing so puts me in a good mood, just like the drama.
Which goes to show that the original writer who set out to adapt this did a commendable job. Too bad she lost it halfway, probably due to the lack of material to follow in the original manhwa (it's still ongoing as of now). All the same, I feel like a true M3 fan for recognizing all its similarity to the show, sort of like a little secret only a lover of the drama will understand.

The Novel: Marry Me, Mary! (Chapter 1)

I won't lie: I'm very excited over what I'm about to do. It's the manhwa story, carefully compiled and made into chapters by a wonderful person at Baidu. Maybe it's the otaku in me, I always make it a point to check out original thing if I stumble upon a drama remake of it. And it definitely explain some things in the drama, like why is there a strawberry in the show's logo? I know it's random, but I was sure they had a reason for it. And I was right.

Secret Garden Just For Awws

Oh nothing much...except for the fact that we get to see a naked chibi Joo Won (alas, it was strategically block by a bra).

Marry Me, Mary! in Manga (Part II)

And the cuteness continues. Now that the OTP acknowledge their love for each other, we might be going uphill with the Romeo and Juliet theme, but no prob, cuteness never ceases in M3's fan art.
Please don't abandon the Show, pleaseeeeeee!

Marry Me, Mary! in Manga

Awwww-shucks-really! As if the drama itself wasn't cute enough, they had to add in chibi Marys and chibi Mu Gyuls into the picture. Do you know how weak I get when facing chibi humans of any sort? CUTE doesn't even begin to describe this. All I can do is giggle myself silly.

Secret Garden For The Otakus

Hehehe <---- This seems to be my usual response for anything related to Secret Garden. Isn't this cool? This is how Ha Ji Won would look like if she were in an American comic book (though I have to say I still prefer the goddess Ha Ji Won herself):
I have to warn you guys, that was the safe pic. From here on, please be prepared before proceeding to read. What you see after this picture may induce excessive giggling, thumping on tables and god forbid, snorting.

Junpei Mizobata returns as a highschooler!

And you know how much I dig J-school uniforms. Mizobata (21) and fashion model Ito Ono (15) has already been confirmed as the leads of the movie adaptation of the manga Koukou Debut (Highschool Debut) since September. Supporting cast includes Masaki Suda (17) from Kamen Rider Double and members from J-theater/idol group AKB48 (AKB48 consists of 3 groups; A, K, B and 48 members, hence the odd name).

My Fav List: Mangas/ Manhwas

Have you ever find yourself in this scenario: You're following tons of dramas, but finding yourself not in love with any of the shows? Heh. Luckily for me, if dramaland fails me, I shall not fret, for I still have my mangas. Futhermore, many of the dramas nowadays are based on mangas, so what's better than to read the original material, right?

Though I have to admit, I have not found any read-worthy mangas lately. So if you have any suggestions, please do tell me. Please note that I'm not into overly cute shoujo stuff and shounen mangas where the girl's boobs are as big as watermelons. I thank you in advance <(_ _)>

Top 10+1 mangas/manhwas I dig (in no particular order):
Ratings guide: ( Visual appeal + Storyline /  How much I enjoyed it )
*Mangas with explicit contents are marked ★
*Readability--Mangas I've read more than once and still lovin' it★
