Well, can't really say all these is SG related but it is related to the SG family, so read up, folks!

SG Gets A Special (again?)

(Updated!)
We're Lying There Just Like A Line - Yozoh (feat. Lee Sang Soon)
A certain friend at Baidu said it best: "Long live SG!" Not to be confused with the previous one that came out on Saturday, this special will be coming out in time for the Lunar New Year. A quick check at the Chinese calendar (yes, us Chinese have a special calendar of our own) shows that it will be on the 2nd day of CNY. No time details have been announced yet. Schedule is as follows:

Secret Garden Twitter Updates

Whad'ya know? Another celeb tweet. Since I expect many more in the future, I shall regularly update this post. But you guys don't have to dig the archives for it -I'll set it to show up as Latest Posts. And the newest tweets will be on top, with the previous at the bottom.

Tweet #4: Hey, what a surprise! Even Go Hyun Jung is watching SG, is what she tweeted today (16/1/2011).

SG Finale Dinner

*Sigh* Don't you wish you were there? The perfect way to end this epic drama - with the stars themselves in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. If this show were aired live here in Malaysia, I would wear an "I LOVE SG" T-shirt, and make my family wear it too while we watch the final episode. Le sigh, wouldn't that be wonderful... let a girl dream, will ya?

This song is the song in Oska's No Smoking campaign scene (the one where he was singing with the 'lil kids), it's so cute and it IS really a song for a No Smoking campaign:
Smoke Free - U-Kiss

I'm sure EVERYONE is here at the finale dinner, but I only have the non-main cast here:

Secret Garden's OST Concert

(Updated!) Wow what a gathering! Looks like everyone from SG is here, look our boys are on the stage! *proud moment*
More (blurry) pictures coming right up! Let's play a round of spot the stars...

SG: The Ending

Eh...why are the pics super clear? Something smells fishy, or maybe it's just me not believing. Pinch me?
Look -it's really triplets! I swear I'll do a thousand headdesks if Ra Im turns out to be carrying other ppl's children (i.e. Seul's or Ah Young's).

The Late Bloomer Yoon Sang Hyun

More often that not, I tend to assume stars are born into the fame and limelight, which is why I appreciate articles like these which make them seem almost human; I'm so glad YSH made it in Korea's cutthroat entertainment industry, for Oska wouldn't be Oska without him. Thank you for not giving up, oppa.

The Representative of "Flower Men" in their 30's
It was only in 2005 the 30-something actor begin to enter the entertainment scene; through several years of setbacks and growth, he is now finally able to show off his commendable acting chops and singing skills. After what seemed to be a year of silence, he created yet another memorable role as Hallyu star Oska in Winter 2010's Secret Garden.

Secret Garden Finale

Another confirmation of a Happy Ending for the OTP; a mashup from two news articles: (Updated!)
Finalizing the finale's script: With two more episodes left to go, SBS's Secret Garden's writer Kim Eun Sook has chose the Happy Ending. Right now, the SG crew is in Yeoju, Gyeonggi-do, Paju and Yesan-gun, Chungcheongnam-do shooting for the 19th Episode. It is tough on the crew as the filming is so close to a "LIVE" broadcast.

SG Bye Bye: A Collection of Memorabilia

(Updated!) and An Announcement: There will be a special edition episode of Secret Garden (probably BTS and whatnot) next Saturday (22/1/2011) at 9 P.M.

"All good things come to an end" - but not in kdramaland, I believe. Something that ends always means a beginning of another. I finally caught up with MP, and I'm happy to report: I like it. It's still the level of "like" not "love" though, but that's not the drama's fault, I attribute it to the absence of the Binnie factor.
I love Lee Seol - she's really a metaphor for the sun; such a sunny and nothing-will-bring-me-down disposition. SSH on the other hand, erm...I find no faults in him -he's the cute goodie two-shoes. Therefore, Street Smart vs. Straightlaced = OTP.

Although...something's been bothering me. Why Mr. Hand Towel? I'm missing an inside joke here, or is it some idiom I'm unaware of?

Anyway, let's take a walk down memory lane....

SG's Oska Launches Album

The song title is translated from the Chinese article, I did compare it with the original Korean one - but since my Korean is -_-", you know how well it went.

SG Oska's 7th solo album will be launched on the 14th (i.e today!).

SG Rumor Mill

(Updated!)
Honestly, I'm not even surprised there's this speculation, dunno know why it's compulsory to have this speculation pop up towards the end in every kdrama. I'll be more surprised if they actually have one.

Joo Won and Ra Im's wedding scene

Episode 19's Preview Transcript + Video

Joo Won: This woman Ra Im, what kind of woman is she?
JW meets Ra Im who's with Oska at the bus stop. JW, sourly says: "What a lovely picture!"
JW follows Oska; Ra Im goes in to her home and prepares a drink for Oska.
JW: You guys are not really together right? I'm having Seul then.

Binnie Joins The Marine Corps; SG Goodness Spreads Throughout Asia

Yay! Two news ALL Gardeners will be proud of, no doubt. I hope this weekend's show will end nicely, 'cause there's nothing like a poop-y ending to spoil a freakin'tastic show (with only two more eps to go, don't fail me now, Writer-nim!).

Binnie And The Sea

Spoiler In Words: Secret Garden Episode 19 & 20

If there's one drama I want an extension on, it would be this one. I know there's an unspoken kdrama law against this -if I were to put it into words it would be All Kdramas Extension Suck. But can a SG crack addict help what she feels? No siree. So help me out guys, what's the best substitute for Binnie?

Spoiler In Words Episode 19

SG Updates

(Updated!)

I thought I've turned jaded after my Taiwan trip. My SG friends were telling me, "Prepare to cry your eyes out for 17 and 18!" and I was like, "Where? When?" Is there something wrong with my tear ducts? I was extremely annoyed with the first half of episode 17 - enough with the Evil Mama and the victimized daughter-in-law, please. I was NOT impressed to say the least. But as soon as I was being smug over my newfound crybaby-no-more status, tears started to flow (more like gushed out) like a dam broken.

SG News Today

Daily Bites of our favorite drama, Secret Garden (Updated!):

Newsflash #5: Another poster's account of The Market scene.

A Fireman's Prayer

"When I am called to duty, whenever flames may rage, give me the strength to save some lives...
And if, according to my fate, I am to lose my life;
please bless with your protecting hand my children and my wife."
This line that was featured in Episode 16's Secret Garden was a weepy moment for the audience.
Voiced by Ra Im's dad, it is actually a verse from a renowned poem,
"Firefighter's Prayer". This prayer was found on the desk of a fireman who died in a 2001 fire that happened in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul:

The Memory Of Joo Won's Accident

The OTP may be together now, but the show is by no means less addictive or even the slightest bit anticlimatic. Sure, some of it has been revealed, but the accident is still shrouded in mystery. By the end of Episode 16, I positively feel like throttling someone.
EVERYONE knows (except for the OTP o'course) but WHY oh why won't anyone talk? It's driving me crazy. What made a 21-year-old Joo Won so traumatized he chose to forget for the past twelve years? How exactly did RI's dad died? [SPOILERS AHEAD]

SG: Ep. 16's Preview Transript

(Updated with long preview transcript!) Usually I watch hospital scenes with a 3rd person disinterest sort of way and this is the first time I'm feeling horror over a scene (the paramedics!). The whole thing's so real and surreal at the same time. Joo Won aaah! *Rushes to the hospital*

Screencaps from the long preview (Actually the first two are from me2day but it's the same. Honest):
Crying to the phone: "There's a person trapped in LOEL Dept Store's elevator, he has claustrophobia, you must save him, you must!"

Oska Does The Confession LA Style

A few things we know about Writer Kim:
-She has a great sense of humor
-She thinks Dir. Park (played by Lee Byung Joon) has a sexy voice (now I think so too).
-She has a great rapport with PD-nim Shin Woo Chul and stars from her dramas.
-She likes Love Actually.
Actually I don't get the hype surrounding Love Actually at all. I didn't think it was  all that romantic and the couple I liked most didn't have a happy ending. Boo!
