SG: Ha Ji Won's double loses 8kg in two weeks for the role

Not quite new news...I admit, I was too lazy to translate -_-" But better late than never, right? Also have a cute Binnie article coming up, so please anticipate it! (gah, I sound like some actor giving a speech about their upcoming show).
8kg may not sound that impressive alongside Yoon Sang Hyun's 10 kg, but two! weeks! That means this lady here lost 4kg in 7 days! Holey moley! Is that even humanly possible?

Secret Garden: A CNY Present

Continuing my tradition since last Christmas, I'll be posting another SG parody vid using Chinese New Years as an excuse (let's be honest: I'm still not quite over Joo Won or SG yet).

Linky to the video will be after this, first up here are pics of SJ's Eunhyuk doing yet another parody from our beloved show. As any Gardener would know, it's the two signature scenes from the drama, The Sit-ups and the (infamous) Bed Scene #1:

Ha Ji Won Gives An Answer To Taecyeon

Awww this noona-love relationship is so sweet. Yeah I'm totally imagining something more than what seems like a simple admiration. But if Demi Moore can work it, I don't see why this is impossible, ha!
Below is an relevant excerpt from a Newsen interview, and thanks to kingsun0009 I don't even have to translate the sentence (love!):

Ha Ji Won: "Tang Wei Watches SG Too"

Ha Ji Won recently attended Prada's Spring/Summer 2011 Collection in Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing. She was the only Korean star who has been invited for the event, alongside Chinese actresses Tang Wei, Gong Li, Maggie Cheung and other stars.

Ha Ji Won said: "That day I met Tang Wei for the first time, she said she watched Secret Garden. When I said I knew Late Autumn will be released in Korea, she replied it would be in February. She was very warm, like a friend." She expressed her regret at not being able to chat with her further: "The fashion show was held in a relatively dark room, furthermore we sat separately from each other. We did meet again in the crowded elevator, but there was no time to chat about the drama or partnering with Hyun Bin and such."

Wouldn't You Like To Know: Some Anecdotes On Their High School Days

By "their", I'm mish-mashing 2 tid bits I read about Ha Ji Won and Kim Tae Hee during their high school years - boy, they must had it good. Unlike mine...

Ha Ji Won's Report Card Exposed!
First of all, isn't there a law against this? Something about student-teacher confidentiality, no? Hmm...

SG's Bed Scene: Behind-The-Scenes

[To mamajoni who wanted to know more about the bed scene, sorry to put a wet blanket to the steamy bed scene, but as a certain show said it best: You Asked For It -haha!]

You know, I've been thinking about SG's finale...and if I were to change one part it would be Sohn Ye Jin's cameo. This is pretty shocking for me too, as she's one of my fav kstars in the industry -and happy to see her doing fine, in fact hotter and wittier than she ever was in Personal Taste), but I was (irrationally) mad at her for taking away what could be Joo Won's sister and Action School's director's romantic development. Wouldn't it be better if, say, she wanted Ra Im to be her stuntwoman or her co-star instead?

Instead, Jong Soo is now reduced to a flubbering idiot and sister is nowhere in sight. *Sigh* Don't mind me, just one of my many rants. Anyway, back to the bed/ implied sex scene:

Prada Spring/Summer 2011 Fashion Show

Maybe I don't get haute couture, maybe they ran out of dresses at Prada but the whole thing (sans Ha Ji Won) made my eyes hurt. Gong Li (wonderful woman, bless her heart) looks like those mama pimps at the noraebang (don't believe me? Go check out IADD) with Maggie Cheung and Tang Wei looking like they went through a paper shredder. Actresses Ha Ji Won, Cecilia Cheung and Qing Xu faired better/escaped the shredders.

The event was held through the evening on the 22nd January at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Chaoyang, Beijing.

'kay, cover your eyes now:

Ha Ji Won Arrives At Beijing

She has no make-up, I think. But that doesn't stops her from looking drop dead gorgeous. *Faints* Watching these "real-life" videos are only intensifying my girl-crush on HJW.
Like I've said in my previous post, she'll be in Beijing to attend Prada's Spring 2011 Collection, which is on the 22nd (i.e today). She arrived at Beijing Capital International Airport yesterday (21/1/2011).

SG Steamy Parody

Oooh, this post have been (deliciously) upped. Dear dc genius, please tell me who you are, 'cause I wanna make banners for you. Your fan foreva, hellochloe.
The following post is restricted to LOEL Department Store Staff. Err, perhaps that is a wee bit restrictive, so let it be for the eyes of die-hard Gardeners only:

Post SG: Where Are They Now

Gardeners (and perhaps the non-Gardeners), I'm sure you know WHO I mean by 'they'.
Hyun Bin Gets Invited To Two Film Festivals
The two Film Festivals are Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) and Pusan International Film Festival (PIFF). Whenever this TIFF and PIFF is, it better not be soon 'cause I want Binnie to have some SLEEP and gain some body fat. How can fans peacefully see him off when he looks like he already did the national service?

Secret Garden Gets A Sequel?

Seems that the production company is not quite done yet milking this cash cow. After the calendars, stickers, OSTs, tours and other memorabilia - now comes the inevitable: it's either the prequel or the sequel. And they chose the latter. It was announced on the 18th that there will be a sequel - it won't be a drama though, but a movie or a musical.

Ha Ji Won Stills From Sector 7

Let's say it together, people: She's COOL. Cool with a capital K. I wished I look half as good sweaty.

Erm, whatssit about again, this Sector 7? Oh whatever, as if I need anymore convincing to watch this movie. I'll watch it even if it's a horror movie (which I'm pretty sure it's not).

Secret Garden Twitter Updates

Whad'ya know? Another celeb tweet. Since I expect many more in the future, I shall regularly update this post. But you guys don't have to dig the archives for it -I'll set it to show up as Latest Posts. And the newest tweets will be on top, with the previous at the bottom.

Tweet #4: Hey, what a surprise! Even Go Hyun Jung is watching SG, is what she tweeted today (16/1/2011).

SG Finale Dinner

*Sigh* Don't you wish you were there? The perfect way to end this epic drama - with the stars themselves in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. If this show were aired live here in Malaysia, I would wear an "I LOVE SG" T-shirt, and make my family wear it too while we watch the final episode. Le sigh, wouldn't that be wonderful... let a girl dream, will ya?

This song is the song in Oska's No Smoking campaign scene (the one where he was singing with the 'lil kids), it's so cute and it IS really a song for a No Smoking campaign:
Smoke Free - U-Kiss

I'm sure EVERYONE is here at the finale dinner, but I only have the non-main cast here:

Secret Garden's OST Concert

(Updated!) Wow what a gathering! Looks like everyone from SG is here, look our boys are on the stage! *proud moment*
More (blurry) pictures coming right up! Let's play a round of spot the stars...

SG: The Ending

Eh...why are the pics super clear? Something smells fishy, or maybe it's just me not believing. Pinch me?
Look -it's really triplets! I swear I'll do a thousand headdesks if Ra Im turns out to be carrying other ppl's children (i.e. Seul's or Ah Young's).

Secret Garden Finale

Another confirmation of a Happy Ending for the OTP; a mashup from two news articles: (Updated!)
Finalizing the finale's script: With two more episodes left to go, SBS's Secret Garden's writer Kim Eun Sook has chose the Happy Ending. Right now, the SG crew is in Yeoju, Gyeonggi-do, Paju and Yesan-gun, Chungcheongnam-do shooting for the 19th Episode. It is tough on the crew as the filming is so close to a "LIVE" broadcast.

SG Bye Bye: A Collection of Memorabilia

(Updated!) and An Announcement: There will be a special edition episode of Secret Garden (probably BTS and whatnot) next Saturday (22/1/2011) at 9 P.M.

"All good things come to an end" - but not in kdramaland, I believe. Something that ends always means a beginning of another. I finally caught up with MP, and I'm happy to report: I like it. It's still the level of "like" not "love" though, but that's not the drama's fault, I attribute it to the absence of the Binnie factor.
I love Lee Seol - she's really a metaphor for the sun; such a sunny and nothing-will-bring-me-down disposition. SSH on the other hand, erm...I find no faults in him -he's the cute goodie two-shoes. Therefore, Street Smart vs. Straightlaced = OTP.

Although...something's been bothering me. Why Mr. Hand Towel? I'm missing an inside joke here, or is it some idiom I'm unaware of?

Anyway, let's take a walk down memory lane....

SG Rumor Mill

(Updated!)
Honestly, I'm not even surprised there's this speculation, dunno know why it's compulsory to have this speculation pop up towards the end in every kdrama. I'll be more surprised if they actually have one.

Joo Won and Ra Im's wedding scene

Episode 19's Preview Transcript + Video

Joo Won: This woman Ra Im, what kind of woman is she?
JW meets Ra Im who's with Oska at the bus stop. JW, sourly says: "What a lovely picture!"
JW follows Oska; Ra Im goes in to her home and prepares a drink for Oska.
JW: You guys are not really together right? I'm having Seul then.
