Eun Jung Reveals A Creamy Face Kim Soo Hyun

Remember I said in my last SIW that my boy has grown up? Well, he literally has grown up! It was his birthday last Wednesday! Happy Birthday Sam Dong ah! *breaks into a belated b-day song*

Eun Jung tweeted on the 16th some pics of them celebrating Kim Soo Hyun's birthday on the set, with the message: "Wishing Song Sam Dong a Happy Birthday. Studio's busy but filled with warmth."

Sam Dong tells Hye Mi who has been worrying about him that he's okay now, and tells her not to take care of him. In order to overcome his weakness, he decides that he must learn absolute pitch* (the ability to identify or reproduce a musical note without an external reference; in order to play by ear). He enlists the help of the only person in the school who knows absolute pitch, Pil Sook. Hye Mi and Jason sees them both together and feels upset inside (loveee <33 this part).

Somebody needs to come up with a female counterpart of the word "bromance". Cause it's aplenty in DH and fanboys are probably rejoicing somewhere, while girls coo at the cuteness, be it Hye Mi x Pil Sook on air or Hye Mi and Eun Jung on set.

The peace lovin' me is glad that despite the differences we may have in Dream High (read: SamGook) on who should get the girl, we can all agree on one thing:  "W" is for "Woo-U wooed my heart. Woot!"

Here's the biodata of the couple, plus quirky bits Wikipedia doesn't tell you. Everything else from their favorite food to the endearments given by fans. Geez, what a fan girl wouldn't do. 

Product Placements In DH? (err...not quite)

I actually find the topic of ads within a drama fascinating, and if it weren't for my blogging activities I would not have noticed 'em at all (except maybe if it's blatantly obvious like Style's, bleh). Whether you like it or not, it's business and dramas need to be profitable (you'll faint if you find out how much SG's advertising revenue amounted to). 

DH don't need no product placements, 'cause it's pratically a walking advertisement for the JYP family. The people, the songs, or more specificly the kpop industry in general. Unlike the norm, in this show the producers do not take a backseat, they're pretty hands on and flamboyant (especially the latter, if you think of JYP's red silk outfit). This time, it's Bae Yong Joon's restaurant venture in Japan that has attracted the audience's attention.

Dream High OST: Can't I Love You? Translated Lyrics

OMG this is so embarrassing, I nearly committed another faux pas in blogging! - when they said that the song was sang by 2AM's Jinwoon and Changmin, I thought it meant 2AM's Jinwoon and the other Changmin (i.e the only Changmin I know, the DBSK one). It wasn't until I finished my translation did I realize that Changmin referred to 2AM's Lee Changmin. Whew! Close call >_<"

On the song, I admit I didn't really like it at first and I was only interested in translating this for the DH factor (I wanna know what the song means when it comes out in a scene). But after hearing it for more than 30+ times (due to translation works), it sort of grows on you. I especially like the chorus (the parts with the echoing of the BG singer). It's catchy and sweet.

Eun Jung is seen posing with 2PM's Wooyoung, and in one of the photos he sports "blood" on his forehead, me thinks it's probably the very same "blood" from Sam Dong's pot-smashed-into-head epi. Gah you crazy dude XD

DH's Concert To Be Free (unlike SG)

Meh, whatever. I can't help but get bitter every time I blog about these things. Because whether it is free or costs a hundred thousand million won, I. cannot. go. *sniffle*

Seeing the success of SG's OST concert, the staff of Dream High has proposed that they do one as well. But the concert will be a tad different and unusual. DH's representative said, "This will be a free concert." This is DH's way of returning the support it has gotten from viewers. It is believed that the main audience of DH are youngsters and students, therefore the best way to repay them is to hold a free concert.
